CBS’ The Early Show Saturday Edition blog is full of complaints from viewers which waited almost 2 hours to see Lee Greenwood perform his hit song “God Bless the USA” only to be disappointed when the song cut off after only 30 seconds.

Greenwood’s appearance didn’t come till the of the end of the show which seems to have added to the disappointment of viewers when he was cut off. Many of the complaints are similar to the following:

I want to complain – all morning they were saying how Lee Greenwood was going to sing “God Bless the US” on the morning show. I was greatly looking forward to it, and watched the whole show waiting for it. They of course waited ’til the end for him to perform it. THEN CUT HIM BEFORE THE SONG WAS HALF OVER!!!!! Very POOR job CBS!
Given CBS’ radical left, i.e. Socialist, agenda many are wondering if this was deliberate. It is a fair question in my opinion.
At least one viewer who commented on CBS’ blog said they will never watch the show again. BRAVO! That is hitting them where they live.
I encourage those of you that watched the show for Greenwood’s performance to leave comments on CBS’ blog if you didn’t already. Let CBS know that we are watching them and we will not tolerate such behavior.

One more reason why I don’t watch the major network’s “news” shows.
John Jones, Good for you John. I wish all the people who feel the way we do would stop watching the main stream media “news”. Maybe then they will “get it” that we are not going to stand for their outrageous antics any longer.
It’s perfectly clear to me why you posted this under the category “Liberal Arrogance.” Clearly, there is NO possible other explanation for this abomination other than liberal arrogance.
I’m curious to what outrageous antics Mr. Rivera is referring.
