I am issuing an open challenge to all liberals. Answer this if you can: “Why is Obama blocking attempts to be vetted?
For those of you who are not familiar with vetting it is “a process of examination and evaluation, generally referring to performing a background check on someone.” In this case, Obama would have to be vetted to qualify him to be president. That has not happened. Hillary Clinton herself said that:
After losing in Iowa Jan. 3, Sen. Clinton said of Sen. Obama, “Everybody needs to be vetted.” Chief Clinton strategist Mark Penn, on the way to New Hampshire, said of his candidate, “She’s fully vetted … and I don’t think that process has occurred with Barack Obama.”

The Democrats made sure that John McCain was fully vetted but somehow they failed to do the same for their own candidate. Well, can you image that? How could such a thing have happen?
If Obama has nothing to hide, why stall being vetted. Let’s review the facts.
- When challenged about his birth certificate he produced a short form birth certificate from Hawaii which is not accepted as proof of birth, not even in Hawaii.
- Obama has spent over $1,000,000 in legal fees to prevent his long form birth certificate from being made public.
The main point of contention here is the claim that Obama is not a natural born citizen. The US Constitution states:
Article 2, Section 1, states, “No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President.”
A case before U.S. District Judge David Carter was tentatively scheduled for trial for Jan. 26, 2010. The case challenges Barack Obama’s eligibility to be president based on questions over his qualifications under the requirements of the U.S. Constitution.
Here is my challenge to all liberal readers of this blog:
- Why is Obama stalling all attempts to be vetted?
- If Obama has nothing to hide, why spend over $1,000,000 in legal fees when all he has to do is produce a legal copy of his birth certificate?
Answer that if you dare!

Because he’s a puppet, and no matter what comes up against him the “people in charge” will find a way to dismiss claims and demonize the people bringing it up. Obama was going to get in office no matter what. The people of this nation “owed” it to people to have a black president. So even if what this “president” voted and believe in was total garbage, it doesn’t matter. We now have a black president.
Let’s take the shoe and put it on the other foot. The associations ths man has, and the stuff he campaigns and contributes for are insane. If the person trying to get all this crap rammed down our throats was white, there would be no way that he would’ve gotten half of this stuff passed, let alone not be vetted. Heck, John McCain was vetted even before the actual election. It was already out of the way, and the left was telling everyone how he wasn’t elligible to run because he was apparently born overseas.
Total hypocrysy at the highest level.

Great comment Thomas, I agree the media is giving a pass on all the shady stuff that Obama is involved in. However, the media went on a witch hunt for "W” and other Republicans and burned "W" on the stake.
I think that Conservatives like us should hold a magnifying glass to the main steam media and start exposing all the shady stuff going on with them.
The main stream media has been under the control of socialist, communists and other radical left wingers for decades. If you look back and closely examine their reports you’ll start to see a left ward slant which has grown increasing bolder over time.
Senator, Joseph McCarthy might have been getting too close to exposing the main stream media for what they really are when they conspired to “bring him down”. Perhaps a second, more critical examination, of the main stream media is in order!
Yeah, I agree. I wasn't that politically coherent in the Bush era, so I can't really comment on that. I can say that I voted for him merely because of the "Republican" title. No more. Just because have an "- R" after your name, means nothing to me anymore. Show me your values and beliefs. I honestly never saw a whole lot of leftist tilt in the media until the past year and a half.
I finally saw the disdain that left-leaning pundits and "news" anchors have for people who hold to Constitutional values and the founder's beliefs. The country is being controlled by people who could care less what the majority likes. They no longer work for us, but for their own desires and aspirations. It's quite sickening how the true definition of a politician has been changed by selfish people.
Thomas, it seems that you believe that the Constitution should be interpreted according the original intents’ of those that wrote it and voted for it namely the Founding Fathers. That makes you an “Originalist” just like me and many others.
It good to see you appealing to values and beliefs, these are very important as they dictate the decision you make through out your life. Therefore, decisions you make are only as good as the values and beliefs you hold. In other words, bad values and beliefs produce bad decisions.
Unfortunately, this is little understood today.
We, as Conservatives need to make others aware of the bad influences affecting the main stream media. It is time to shine the spotlight in those dark corners of the Fifth Estate.

I know of no other time that we elected a President knowing so little about him! Thomas you are so right about so many white people just wanting to have a black president so as to relieve the guilt they have been languishing over for so long! The state run media fell in love with the liberal black man running for president and continue their slobbering love affair to this day!!
The list of documents this man has yet to release is just ridiculous!
All we really need to know though is who he is and where his loyalties lie. I say he is culturally not an American even if he was born here which I am convinced he wasn’t. You can learn a great deal about someone by who their friends are. Included on that list are Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn (of all people to have a political coming out party, you have it with unrepentant domestic terrorists), Jeremiah Wright, Van Jones, Daniel Ortega, Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro and any other rogue dictator you can name.
